The Pono Pass™ is provided to assist travelers with the mandatory Hawaiʻi Department of Health requirements and the Hawaiʻi Safe Travel program.

The Pono Pass™ is a grassroots independent non-tax based movement to grow and sustain Hawaiʻi for future generations

The Pono Pass™ initiative ONLY supports Certified Green, Sustainable Activities, Attractions, Local Tour Companies, and Local Ocean Friendly Restaurants.

Become a Pono Traveler, take the Pono Pledge acknowledging respect for Hawaiian Culture and heeding visitor protocol.

75% of all donations to the Pono Pass™ go directly to assist environmental and cultural non-profits: i.e. Surfrider Foundation, Sustainable Tourism Association Hawaii, Ocean Friendly Restaurants, and Native Hawaiian Hospitality Association and provide scholarships, education, and community funding.

Pono Pass™ travelers receive up to a 20% discount from participating Pono Pass™ vendors.
